Potato Polo

For this game you'll need a potato and some pantyhose for each player. Tie a knot in the end of the pantyhose and put in a potato for your "mallet". Then just get an average-sized ball and something to mark your goals with. You play just like hockey. You might want a smoother playing surface like a gym floor instead of a lawn, but either way this is a fun game that is more challenging than you think! The unpredictability of the "mallet" makes it even more fun and challenging even for skilled athletes.

Ice Cream Statues

Take your hand at it Michelangelo!

Get the box kind of ice cream... Best to only take it out of the freezer right before you start... you don't want it all melty... yet!

Take the brick and you and some friends start carving down to make the best art!

Have a contest!

Then when you're done, you get to eat it... work in teams if you don't think you can eat a whole carton of ice cream yourself... but you know you can!

Make your own cold stone

Who wants to pay those high prices? Get some friends together and try this:

Buy some basic ice cream flavors (vanilla, chocolate) you know, the cheap stuff!

Get assorted candy bars, mash them up together and try making all sorts of different combinations! It's a great way to find out what you like and it's cheap to split on a double date or just the two of you!

Yellowstone National Park

This date may be out there, but it's fun and only is about an hour and a half drive time... plug in an Ipod and you're good to go!

Yellowstone National Park is a great way to get away with some friends for the day. From the buffalo, to the painted pots, to Old Faithful...there is no shortage of things to do in the park. And at $25 for a car, you can split that up nicely. Hey big spender, why not spring for your date's part of the bill too?!

Heise Hot Springs

Another great hot springs resort is Heise Hot Springs. In addition to the pools, they also have a waterslide, 9-hole golf course, pizza restaurant and campground.

Take them out to the Ballgame

Take a drive down to I.F. and enjoy a warm summer evening watching the Chukars minor league baseball team. You can occasionally get free tickets from local businesses like Odell's Furniture and Westmark Credit Union.

Note: Rexburg Night is August 11th!

St. Anthony Sand Dunes

Whether you love to four wheel and dirt bike, or you just want to relax in the sand and have some fun, the Sand Dunes are where you want to be. The Dunes are a great place to just go out and play, and then have a bonfire in the evening. In the winter it's a perfect place to go sledding too. The Dunes are also close to Egin Lake and the Ice Caves and the Civil Defense Caves.
